Pinterest Pin

Kind of a neat feeling when trolling Pinterest I came across one of my bouquets that had been posted by someone else. I feel honored that the bride loved it enough to share with the world!

Planting for Arrangements

Everyone is going out to their yards now and beginning to plan their planting for the season.  It's easy to bring eye popping color to your pots and beds with colorful annuals, but what if you'd like to have something year after year to bring in and spruce up your indoor spaces?  Here are a few of my favorites to plant and use for arrangements on my own table.
1. Hydrangea
2. Gladiolus
3. Garden Roses
4. Tulips
5. Peonies

All are fairly easy to grow and maintain and look beautiful indoors or out!

Happy Birthday Eva

My beautiful girl is turning 1 year old today! My friend Gretchen Ennis captured her bright personality and soft smile perfectly during the 3 seconds she would keep the crown of roses on!

Climbing to 200

My goal is to get to 200 likes on Facebook in the month of April.  I think we can do it!  To spice things up a bit, I am giving away a $20.00 Amazon.com gift card to one of the lucky people who like Bloom's page or share the give-away link.

Flowers Speak

Flowers speak louder than words at times and like it or not, the arrangements we choose say something about us to the world.  This is very prominent at weddings where flowers are likely to be the only thing, within a venue, that changes from one bride to the next.  It is such a pleasure to work with couples to find their "flower personality" and what truly speaks to them. And like each couple, every arrangement is different and unique.

A Show Stopper - The Anemone

Anemones are lovely, delicate flowers that dance atop slender stems, giving them their poetic common name -- windflower.

I love the anemones used in this bouquet.  The soft white petals lead to a striking black center giving it an unexpected dramatic flair.  Tucked in against the blue accents and green textures, it can be just breathtaking - just like a bride wants on her wedding day! Stacey's dress had the same softness and beauty as the anemones and I couldn't have been happier with how it all came together.

Easy Breezy Summer Daisies

Daisies are a signature of summer and these daisy balls are a great way to include them in a unique and stunning way. Simply beautiful as they line an outdoor walkway for guests to enjoy.  Use ribbon that matches your colors or an elegant white silk like shown above.  Simple and memorable all at the same time!
