Antlers

Who ever thought that antlers paired well with peach roses???  This twig arbor was made by the groom, and we added beautiful roses and lisanthus for a "wedding" feel- the result was beautiful and northwoods- "y".  Photos by Tim Larsen Photography.

Navy

Navy seems to be a good strong color for 2014- and there are so many choices for the flowers to accent it!!  Here the bride chose hot pink - love the combination.  Photo by Tim Larsen Photography.

Blush and Navy bouquet

Love the selection of my Madden's bride on her flowers- blush, cream, and navy accents.  I had such a great time working with Maddens' awesome coordinator, Meredith and Tim Larsen Photography, and of course, my beautiful and fun couple!

Monochromatic bouquets

This monochromatic red bouquet turned out lovely- the bride wore red cowboy boots to accent!   Monochromatic flowers can make a very bold statement, no matter the color- and even all white is very elegant.

Multiple "Looks"

Many of my brides know that I like to work with different "looks" for the reception décor.  This is a great example of three different table centerpieces that we mixed in for a fun green and white wedding (with a touch of burlap and lavender sprinkled in).  Another beautiful Grandview wedding!

Mothers' Bouquets

I sometimes have such a hard time with mothers of the bride and groom and finding appropriate flowers for them- many cannot pin on their dresses or the neckline doesn't work and for others wearing a wrist corsage isn't ideal either- this is a beautiful, small, and tasteful handheld mothers' bouquet for one of my recent brides...I think it is the best of all worlds!

Flower Crown in Blue

Flower crowns are appropriate for any age- here is a 9 year old model (of course, my beautiful daughter) with the flower girl dress and crown for a great wedding that took place at Grandview Lodge in Nisswa, MN.
I'll post the photo of the wedding this was for- the bride had 5 granddaughters and they looked adorable!

Another flower crown

Simple flower crown made of blue delphinium blooms.

Breezy Point Beach Wedding

OMG this had to be one of the most beautiful arches I've worked on yet- I cannot wait for the professional pictures (from my friend Tim Larsen), I'll definitely share when I have them- but it took TONS of flowers and the best part is the arch itself was made from reclaimed timbers by the bride's grandpa... breathtaking!

Arches!

I absolutely love arches of all kinds...they really showcase the wedding style and feel and they designate a special space for the ceremony, which is, after all, the main event!

Special Bouquets

As you plan your special day, don't forget to include touching personal momentos.  This special bride incorporated her rosary into her bridal bouquet.  I've had creative brides use antique jewelry, family photos, family heirlooms, parts of their mother's wedding dress and more as a part of their bouquets for a truely unique and one-of-a-kind bridal bouquet!

Cragun's Wedding

One of my favorite weddings- Jennifer had a unique look of "rustic elegant" and we decked out Cragun's Legacy with birch, twigs and beautiful blooms!  We even added grapevine wreath chandeliers suspended from the ceiling- it was beautiful!

Kissing Balls

In honor of Valentine's Day, I have to post this unique centerpiece idea!  This is a "kissing ball" made of red carnations...they are stunning as a centerpiece or accent to your tabletop. I love trying new things!!

Brighter Days Foundation

Though it was 20 degrees below, I had a wonderful day last Friday working with beautiful fresh flowers and making centerpieces for the Brighter Days Foundation Gala!  What an incredible organization led by incredible people!  It warmed my heart to be part it!  http://www.brighterdaysfoundation.org/

First Blog!

My first blog, and I couldn't be more excited! I have been lucky to do what I love the past few years and working with the best brides in Minnesota!  I hope to share many more pictures from the fabulous weddings I was part of in 2013- so much creativity and great people to work with, like I said I'm so blessed!
